Our Naturopath clinic uses custom formulated nutrient based rehydration formulas to Edmonton. For dealing with alcohol withdrawal your TruMed Naturopath may suggest NAD as it can be beneficial for alcohol and opioid withdrawal. Additional Thiamine (B1), Niacinamide (B3), Vitamin C are key nutrients other than NAD that can be helpful in reducing intoxication and decreasing delerium tremens. Interestingly enough, there is data that suggests that consumption of a form of Vitamin B5 called Pantethine can reduce hangovers substantially. So, if you are not able to make it to the clinic for a Banana Bag, your TruMed Naturopath may suggest oral Pantethine to reduce likelihood of hangover.
